National Examination Board in Occupational Safety & Health (NEBOSH) was formed in 1979 as an awarding body with charitable status. NEBOSH is a UK-based independent examination board delivering vocational qualifications in health, safety & environmental practice and management.
ICE supports and promotes professional learning, managing professional ethics and safeguarding the status of engineers, and representing the interests of the profession in dealings with government, etc. It sets standards for membership of the body; works with industry and academia to progress engineering standards and advises on education and training curricula.
The ISE is a professional body for structural engineering based in the United Kingdom. It has 27,000 members in 105 countries. They provide professional accreditation for structural engineers. The Institution is an internationally recognised source of expertise and information concerning all issues that involve structural engineering and public safety within the built environment.
The IET is one of the world’s largest engineering institutions with over 160,000 members in 127 countries. It is also the most multidisciplinary – to reflect the increasingly diverse nature of engineering in the 21st century.
